Being able to create something special is important for everyone, but particularly so for children.

They start from an early age, first by observing parents and siblings and gradually participating more and more until they have the satisfaction of producing something all by themselves.   This gives a sense of accomplishment.

Crafts help to foster creativity and imagination.  Parents can help to foster positive self esteem in children by displaying their art work and craft projects through the home.  By encouraging your child’s creative side, you will not only help to develop their imagination, but also improve the way they feel about themselves.

At our Make and Play sessions, children can choose from a selection of craft activities which may include:

• Making crowns
• Making kites
• Making musical instruments
• Making masks
• Making finger puppets
